Milford Sound is a two hour drive in and two hour drive out without stopping.   The road is one of the most scenic in NZ with many stops and walks along the way.    There are many cruises available on the Sound and if you prefer not to drive you can take one of the local tours whom arrange everything for you.  Contact us to see which trip suits you best!

Doubtful Sound is an all day trip which starts with a drive to Manapouri where you pick up a boat and cruise Lake Manapouri for an hour then take an amazing scenic hour bus drive over the fantastic Wilmot Pass then into Doubtful for a 3 hour boat cruise amongst one of the remotest places in NZ.  Enjoy the wonderful seal colony at the end of the Sound then return home to Manapouri the same way.  Doubtful Sound also offers fantastic overnight cruises for something special.  Contact us for prices and times.

A beautiful Park you can walk around in 25 mins.  Trees, green areas and Lake Henry in the middle.  Popular for weddings and picnics or you can play a game of Frisbee Golf.  One of the best places to sit and relax.

Fiordland Cinema is a lovely little cinema that plays our own local movie all of the Fiordland Area.  It took 4 years to make and a large percentage out of a helicopter.  32 minutes of scenery and music that will give you the biggest sensory overload.  On the hour daily (times change according to seasons)  

Te Anau has a number of scenic flights available by helicopter or float plane.   Enjoy and experience the remoteness of the Fiordland area by air.  There are a number of companies in the town which take daily bookings.  Contact us for details and prices to suit your scenery overload.

Te Anau region has been developing new bike tracks.  You can hire bikes in the township to enjoy a bike ride along our wonderful lake and river tracks.  You can choose from conventional bikes or electric bikes.
